What blogging tools do you use with students, and why? 21classes.com This one does not require students to have e-mail accounts but only 49 students at a time can be logged on. Teachers can review as comments are published. Edublogs for a school blog on a website
What kinds of challenges have you encountered when using blog tools (specify the tool you are discussing)? Inappropriate Language! Moderation time to review entries. Spelling and abbreviations. Space restrictions.
What tips would you provide to a teacher using blogs for the first time? Have a goal in mind. Read some other blogs or speak to someone else who does these. Don't worry too much about punctuation before getting thoughts down. Don't be afraid to jump right in. Set expectations.
